The Brief:


You are a creative agency working to create, publish and exhibit a zine that connects with and celebrates the brand TSPTR through their spring/summer 2022 journal. Your creative starting point is through the theme of revolution.






We produced 10 identical copies of our zine, which was based on the strength of community and how revolutions can be spurred by any group of people with common interests and ideals. We interviewed LGBTQIA+ advocate Ben Pechey to discuss how anyone can get involved with activism.

The brand TSPTR is heavily inspired aesthetically by the 1970s. This was a key aspect when designing the visuals within the zine. Although the 70s is often praised as a time of change and activism, many people still frowned upon the LGBTQIA+ community, so we found it was integral to ensure we highlighted the importance of exposure for this community of highly-inspirational people.

In collaboration with the zines, a hallucinogenic-inspired poster was included to enable consumers can have a piece of artwork to brighten their rooms.
