‘MAUD’ A SHORT FILM
The Brief:
Nowness is launching a series of short films exploring the
emotional power of colour, unpacking the intriguing and
tactile spectrum. You have been commissioned to produce a
60-second short film about your assigned colour to be shown
as part of the series.
Our designated colour for this week-long project was pink. We wanted to create a juxtaposition between this soft colour and the atmosphere of the film’s narrative. The short brings light to how perfection is a facade and unattainable.
A visual narrative following Maud through her deterioration of perceived perfection.
