
The outcomes portray a student’s routine post-lockdown and the effects that online learning have on young adults' mental health. The decision to display this subject was inspired by our chosen independent magazine 1 Granary, which is a student-produced zine. Our other main focus was to discuss the issues with the media’s fetishisation of the female breakdown and the implications that follow.

The Concept:
The concept for this project is heavily inspired by my research into Nadia Lee Cohen’s work and her stylized
view on timely issues. The documentation of the female breakdown is prevalent through film, television and other media.
Within this photo story, we encapsulated these raw emotions to make the viewer feel uncomfortable with their preconceived ideas of the perfect woman, displaying the plethora of different emotions a woman can feel.
